BG Christian Academy


BG Christian Academy students will buzzing around town on May 20, all day, for their 6th annual Community Day. This is a day when they serve many non-profits and for-profits in Bowling Green doing yard work, cleaning, planting, and a variety of other tasks that beautify our town. They also deliver thank you notes and baked treats to public servants, and visit nursing homes, where the kids play games with and sing songs for the residents.

At the same time, they are working for pledges they solicited from friends and family. The funds go toward school programming that the students enjoy. Business sponsors for the day help defray supply costs and bolster funds raised.

Some places are visited annually. The library looks forward to the students’ arrival and the tidy place they leave behind.
